🐟 Tuna Steaks with Lime & Herb Sauce

Ingredients

- •4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- •1 medium onion, chopped
- •4 tuna steaks (about 6 oz each)
- •¼ teaspoon salt
- •¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- •6 sprigs each of cilantro, parsley, and basil, coarsely chopped
- •1 tablespoon capers
- •Grated zest and juice of 1 lime
- •2 pounds baby new potatoes, steamed

Sauté aromatics: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and onion, and sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened. Remove from pan and set aside.

Cook the tuna: Season tuna steaks with salt and pepper. Sear in the same skillet for 3–4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your preference.

Make the sauce: Return garlic and onion to the pan. Add chopped herbs, capers, lime zest, and juice. Cook for 2–3 minutes more, stirring gently.

Serve: Plate tuna steaks with steamed baby potatoes and spoon the herb-lime sauce over the top.
