🥗 Garlic Yogurt Cheese with Fresh Crudités

A light and flavorful appetizer, this garlic yogurt cheese pairs perfectly with crisp vegetables. It’s easy to prepare, healthy, and makes a refreshing starter for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain yogurt
  • 1 large clove garlic, crushed or minced
  • 3 tablespoons chopped mixed fresh herbs (chives, parsley, dill, oregano, basil, or tarragon)
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pound mixed crudités (broccoli florets, baby carrots, radishes, cherry tomatoes, celery sticks)

Instructions

    In a bowl, combine yogurt, garlic, herbs, honey, salt, and pepper.

    Line a strainer with a double layer of cheesecloth and place it over a bowl.

    Spoon the yogurt mixture into the cheesecloth. Let it drain for about 4 hours.

    Transfer to the refrigerator and chill overnight.

    Serve the garlic yogurt cheese with assorted crudités.
